Our journey
Andreas wears glasses and was dissatisfied for years with the cleaning results of conventional glasses cleaning cloths. Together with his mother-in-law, Nicolas's grandmother, he sewed a special cleaning finger cot out of a microfiber cloth, which he has been using enthusiastically to clean his glasses ever since.
Years later, Nicola called her mother while she was on vacation. In the background, she watched Andreas cleaning his glasses with the cleaning finger cot. When she asked, Andreas explained how the cleaning finger cot worked. It soon became clear: This cleaning finger cot could make cleaning glasses easier for many people!

We want you to enjoy your ruhrfaser products for a long time, which is why we focus on high quality and very good service. All products have been developed over the years and worked out down to the smallest detail so that they give you the best cleaning results for your favorite items.
sustainability
No plastic is used in the entire production of our products and in the conduct of our business. All ruhrfaser products can be washed and reused up to 100 times.
German production
A large proportion of our products are designed and assembled by hand in Germany. We work with local companies to achieve this.
